MAUREEN CHIQUET
Chairwoman of the Board, Maureen Chiquet is also member of the Inclusion and Belonging Committee of Golden Goose. Maureen is the lead Non-Executive Director on the board of Canada Goose Holdings, Inc. and a Non-Executive Director on the board of Credo, Inc.
Maureen’s long professional career started in 1985 at L’Oréal in Paris where she held the position of Product Manager before moving in 1989 to The Gap as an Assistant Merchandiser. In 1994, she joined Old Navy where she eventually took the role of EVP Merchandising, Production and Planning before being appointed President of Banana Republic in 2001. In July 2003 she entered the luxury world, moving to Chanel as President and Chief Operational Officer of Chanel, Inc. before becoming Global Chief Executive Officer in 2007. Maureen left Chanel in 2016 and published the book “Beyond the Label: Women, Leadership & Success on Our Own Terms”. Other than her board seats, she is a Senior Advisor for Permira and a public speaker.
Born in March of 1963, Maureen holds a bachelor’s degree in literature from YALE University, USA.
