Our partnership with Coronet to launch YATAY is the first co-action platform for sustainable innovation Made in Italy. YATAY went live at the end of 2022 and focused on creating positive social and economic impacts while maintaining the lowest environmental footprint.
The partnership allowed for continuous testing phases, directly verifying the results on Golden Goose products, collecting consumers’ feedback, and subsequently making the innovations available for luxury players. YATAY Model 1B, a gender-neutral sneaker made of bio-based and recycled materials, was the first product of this collaboration. It reduced CO2 emissions by 90% and water usage by 65% compared to leather. Every left heel tab on each pair of Yatay Model 1B has a unique number embossed – the key to take part in the brand’s environmental activities and commitments, becoming the starting point of the Golden lovers’ sustainable journey.
